Mummy and Me Drop-in Program Tuesday mornings at 10 a.m., Age: 0-4
May 5 – August 11, included with admission.
In this exciting exhibit we take a look at The Nile River Valley of 5,000 years ago. While we obviously talk about Mummies, a big part of our discussion and exhibits focus on the Egyptian civilization and their family life, education, buildings, agriculture, make-up, clothing and their thoughts on the afterlife. If you thought Game of Thrones was riveting, you’ll be in awe of the real life history of Egyptian culture and their kings and queens which strongly contributed to the later cultures of Europe and the Mediterranean.
