Your most shocking, interesting and zany Objects

January 24 @ 8:00 am - February 28 @ 5:00 pm

The Pump House Steam Museum wants your interesting, zany and unusual objects or items. As part of this summer’s exhibit – Kingston: Believe it or Not we want to tell the Kingston story, 150 years of the Kingston story that is. We have ventured far into the vaults of the Kingston museums in search of the strangest objects with the best stories.  Now it’s your turn!  We have room for some very special community pieces to join our already interesting collection of believe it or not’s. If you have an object that has an interesting story, that is not instantly recognizable, has a connection to Kingston in some way and is dated between 1867 and 2017 then we would like to hear from you.   The funnier the object, the more surprising the topic or the more shocking the story the better it is for our exhibit.  Take a picture of your object and write the story that goes with it and then email: phsmuseum@CityofKingston.ca.
